Marks Rpi Cluster is continuing to run its mix of Rosetta and Einstein work 24/7. The Pi4's have now settled into running Rosetta and Einstein in a 50/50 split so two cores for each project. The Pi3's only run Einstein so all 4 cores are being used for them. That gives 6 Rosetta and 6 Einstein on the Pi4's and 40 Einstein on the Pi3's.
The Pi4's take about 2 hours, 30 miutes per Einstein task and the Pi3's are taking 12 hours to do the same task. Most of that is due to the optimized aarch64 app being so much faster than the project supplied app.
I have asked an electrician friend to wire up the Meanwell 16 amp power supplies and given him 3 power supplies, 3 power cables and a whole pile of USB type C cables. Once that is done I will need to get a 3D case designed and printed as they are bare power supplies. See my post from the 11th of April to see what the Meanwell 16 amp power supply looks like.
